Meriem is a senior public policy analyst, researcher and consultant with nine years of experience leveraging expertise in socioeconomic development and the digital economy to solve complex policy issues for public and private sector clients. She regularly writes about public policy and macroeconomic affairs for The Economist Intelligence Unit and participates as a speaker at international policy conferences. Prior to joining The Economist Group, Meriem worked for the World Bank Group, where she supported the design of national economic reform strategies in sub-Saharan Africa. Meriem holds an MSc in Public Management and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BSc in International Management with French from the University of Bath.
